Rat Bikes - Cycloddity - and Jay's SumOddity Video

Do you ever watch American Chopper and think to yourself, "I would love to make a chopper but who can afford it?" Ratbike building maybe your avenue to explorer you inner Teutul.

Recently, I've been spending time with various people from church. One of the men from church, Kelly Haynes, invited me to a youth rat bike build activity at his house. For those who don't know, rat bike building is the activity of taking bicycles and building them using chopper type techniques (i.e. welding, grinding and hammering). One of Kelly's more common types of rat bike styles is the tall bike.

Kelly has created a MySpace web page, called Cycloddity, to act as the home for rat bike activities. Every now and then I come across a video that reminds me of something that me and my best friend would do. If you were wondering who the girl would be if this represents me and my best friend, I would have to say that the girl would be Dawn.

BTW, Joshua sent this to me because he just loved it. Debra says that he's played over and over again. Why do I think I'll be visiting the hospital a lot when my son grows older?
